Welcome to the Band Room, our repository of buried treasure. The odds and sods, the bits and bobs, the GI section (is that General Information or Greg Inglis…? Who knows?)

Leadfinger almost always play at least one very choice and usually obscure cover at every live gig we do.  We are all great students of rock’n’roll and the chance to play a song by one of our heroes is part of why we do it, I guess it takes us back to our garage days of learning to play and the buzz of playing songs we loved before we had learnt to write our own and hey let’s face it, we ain’t making a living out of this so we are bloody well going to enjoy it regardless of what anyone thinks. Over the years we’ve found ourselves in some strange places playing for fun and mostly for the love of it. Occasionally needing the extra cash to pay a recording bill we’ll play at a party or do an acoustic show, a residency or the classic 3 set gig in the front bar of a long forgotten suburban pub where it doesn’t matter what you play as long as the people stay to drink – and they usually do. These gigs can be a blast and a chance to let our hair down and play songs we don’t usually get the chance to. Without further adieu – here is a list of other peoples songs we’ve played over the years (some we even recorded) – no top 40 or trendy crap here, just great songs by artists that we love.
